1. Who we are and what this policy covers

CineGo is a personal video player operated by HANDERSON DOS SANTOS DINIZ ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the CineGo mobile app and this website handle information when you use them. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

2. Information kept on your device

CineGo lets you collect, organize, and play videos you choose. The videos you add, their file names and thumbnails, your profile details, playback settings, and viewing history are kept on your device. We do not provide a CineGo account, cloud storage, or cross-device synchronization, and CineGo does not upload this information to our servers.

The app uses this local information to show your library, remember your preferences, and resume playback. You control the videos you add. If you remove a video from the app's library, the original file may remain wherever it is stored on your device unless you separately delete that file.

3. Device access and permissions

To find and play videos, CineGo needs access to media that you select or make available through Android's media permissions and file picker. The exact permission prompt depends on your Android version and the feature you use. You can change permissions in your device settings. If you deny or withdraw media access, some import or playback features may stop working.

4. Google Play and other software services

Google Play handles the app's download, installation, and updates under Google's own terms and privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy for information about Google's services.

CineGo uses Firebase services provided by Google to support the app. Depending on the services in use, Firebase may process technical information such as app or device identifiers and basic device details. We do not use analytics or crash reporting services in CineGo, and we do not send your videos or other locally stored library information to Firebase. Learn more in Firebase Privacy and Security.

CineGo does not currently show ads or offer in-app purchases. We may add advertising in a future version. If we do, we will update this policy before enabling it to explain the advertising services and their data practices.

This website does not use analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies. Your browser sends ordinary requests to the website's hosting server to retrieve these pages; any access logging depends on the hosting service and its configuration.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your videos or use your locally stored media for advertising. CineGo does not provide an upload or sharing service for your personal video library. We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so, but we cannot disclose files or local information that we do not possess.

6. Storage, retention, and security

Your library information, profile details, settings, and viewing history remain on your device until you change or remove them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to your device's storage and backup settings. Files stored outside CineGo's app data may remain after you uninstall the app. You are responsible for keeping copies of videos you do not want to lose.

We design CineGo so that your personal media stays on your device. Your device's security settings and the security of any backup service you use also affect the protection of that information. Technical information processed through Firebase is retained according to the applicable service settings. No storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use it to answer your request and keep it for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter or comply with applicable law. We take reasonable steps to protect messages we receive and limit access to those needed to respond. Please avoid sending video files or other sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

7. Your choices and rights

You can choose which videos to add, edit available profile and playback settings, remove items from your library, and manage app permissions in Android settings. You can also clear CineGo's app data or uninstall it through Android. Clearing app data can remove local settings and history; it may not delete video files stored elsewhere.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we actually hold. Email [email protected] to make a request. We cannot access or delete data that exists only on your device, but we can help explain the available controls.

8. Children's privacy

CineGo is a general-purpose media player and is not designed specifically for children. Parents and guardians should supervise the media children access through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when CineGo's features or data practices change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. Please review it when you update the app.
